As owner and operator of Weddings by the Sea, I am very knowledgeable about accommodations on the Islands. I have spent almost 25 years as an Innkeeper of a successful resort here on Sanibel prior to starting my full-time wedding business in January, 1995.

I officiated at my first wedding on June 20, 1980. To the present time, I have had the pleasure of being part of close to 7,000 weddings. Sanibel has been my home since 1970, coming from Pittsburgh, PA as a new bride.

I can assist you with a site for the ceremony (the beach is the most popular), location for the reception/dinner party, ceremony officiant, a great photographer, beautiful flowers, tasty and pretty wedding cake, hairstylist, musicians such as violinist, harpist, flutist, guitarist, saxophonist, etc., DJ, band, and any other service needed to give you a wedding beyond your expectations. My standards are very high. It is not only important for me to work with vendors that will offer outstanding services to the bride and groom, but also to help maintain my distinctive reputation.
 
Since weddings are so personal, it is best to initially speak by telephone so we can get to know one another better. E-mail is fine once prices have been established and all the details have been worked out.
