As owner and operator of Weddings by the Sea, I am very knowledgeable about accommodations on the Islands. I have spent almost 25 years as an Innkeeper of a successful resort here on Sanibel prior to starting my full-time wedding business in January, 1995.

I performed my first wedding ceremony on June 20, 1980. We have lived on Sanibel Island since 1970, coming from small towns north of Pittsburgh, PA (Monaca & Rochester).   To the present time, I've had the pleasure of being part of over 8,000 weddings.

I can assist you with a site for the ceremony (the beach is the most popular), location for the reception/dinner party, ceremony officiate, a great photographer, beautiful flowers, tasty and pretty wedding cake, hairstylist, musicians such as violinist, harpist, flutist, guitarist, saxophonist, etc., DJ, band, and any other service needed to give you a wedding beyond your expectations. My standards are very high. It is not only important for me to work with vendors that will offer outstanding services to the bride and groom, but also to help maintain my distinctive reputation.
